Week 1

I take control of Blender

Week 4

I model on my own

Week 7

I build a full scene

Week 10

I animate

Week 12

I CREATE ALONE

We do not sell hours of video. We sell what you will have built.

Most courses say: "you get 35 hours of video". BLENDER 90 says something else: in 90 days you will have finished around ten creations and you will be able to build your own project from a simple idea.

The real product is not the videos. It is a path, real practice, deadlines, feedback and a transformation you can actually see in your renders.

You arrive saying "I can follow a tutorial". You leave saying "give me an idea, I know how to make it in Blender".

The 12-week program

Every week has one clear objective, short videos, an exercise and a mission you complete without a tutorial.

Week 1

Take control of Blender

Stop being scared of the interface.

  • Day 1 - Understanding Blender (8 min)
  • Day 2 - Moving around the scene (6 min)
  • Day 3 - Move / rotate / scale (8 min)
  • Day 4 - Object Mode vs Edit Mode (10 min)
  • Day 5 - The shortcuts that actually matter (8 min)

Mission #1 - Rebuild a small scene with no tutorial: desk, lamp, mug. You only get the reference image.

Week 2

Modeling essentials

The single most requested skill, taught as muscle memory.

  • Extrude (7 min)
  • Inset (6 min)
  • Loop Cut (7 min)
  • Bevel (8 min)
  • Normals (8 min)
  • Snapping (6 min)

Exercise set - 6 shapes to reproduce from reference only.

Week 3

The modifiers

Work faster and non-destructively.

  • Mirror
  • Array
  • Solidify
  • Subdivision
  • Boolean
  • Bevel

Mission - Model this object without a tutorial. The solution stays locked until you decide to unlock it.

Week 4

PROJECT #1 - The little robot's bedroom

Your first real project, briefed like a client job.

  • References, concept art and approximate dimensions
  • Clear objectives, no step-by-step procedure
  • You decide how to build the bed, the shelf, the props
  • Full walkthrough unlocked after you finish

Deliverable - One finished bedroom scene, modeled by you.

Week 5

Materials

Pragmatic shading, not 4 hours in the node editor.

  • Principled BSDF (10 min)
  • Colors (6 min)
  • Roughness / Metallic (8 min)
  • Textures (12 min)
  • UV fundamentals (15 min)
  • Normal maps (8 min)

Mission - Create 5 materials without following the video: wood, metal, plastic, glass, fabric.

Week 6

Lighting and rendering

Enough to be autonomous, without a 20-hour module.

  • Lights (10 min)
  • HDRI (8 min)
  • Three-point lighting (12 min)
  • Cycles vs Eevee (10 min)
  • Camera (10 min)
  • Composition (12 min)
  • Render settings (8 min)

Mission - Light your robot bedroom three ways: morning, night, dramatic. Artistic decisions, not just sliders.

Week 7

PROJECT #2 - Reproduce an image

The week where it clicks: I did this on my own.

  • You get a concept art, nothing else
  • Analyze, model, texture, light, frame, render
  • Self-review checklist included

Deliverable - One finished render matching the brief.

Week 8

Character

Understand the character workflow end to end.

  • Simple modeling
  • Basic sculpting
  • Retopology: the concept
  • Materials
  • Rig
  • Posing

Mission - Create a small stylized character: a robot, a creature, a mascot. Not a photoreal human.

Weeks 9-10

Animation

The second most requested skill.

  • Keyframes (8 min)
  • Timeline (7 min)
  • Graph Editor (12 min)
  • Interpolation (8 min)
  • Principles of animation (15 min)
  • Camera animation (10 min)

Missions - Animate a ball, then your character, then produce a 5-second shot.

Week 11

The free project - autonomy test

No tutorial at all. On purpose.

  • Choose: one still image or a 5-10 second animation
  • You only get a checklist: concept, references, blockout, modeling, materials, lighting, camera, animation, render

Deliverable - Your own project, from your own idea.

Week 12

Finish

The week most courses forget. Ship it.

  • Day 1 - Project audit
  • Day 2 - Fixes
  • Day 3 - Polish
  • Day 4 - Final render
  • Day 5 - Presentation

Finished project. Publish it, add it to your portfolio.

The method: 1/3 watching, 2/3 practising

Every single skill goes through the same four stages. That is the Apprendre Blender method.

1

Understand

A short 5-12 minute video. One concept, nothing else.

2

Reproduce

You build it with me, step by step.

3

Practice

A small exercise, this time without me.

4

Create

You reuse the skill in a completely different context.

The path

Exactly what you have to watch, in the right order, week by week. No more "I don't know what to learn next".

The library

Want to go deeper? All my existing courses stay available, 35+ hours of deep dives, whenever you need them.

The Blender Club

Every week, a new mission. For example: "model a futuristic vehicle using only 5 modifiers." Students post their creations.

Then we do a group review together: what I would have done differently, topology traps, how to improve your lighting. Real feedback on real work, not a comment section.

Levels, not badges

  • Level 0NewcomerYou just started.
  • Level 1ModelerFirst modeling project finished.
  • Level 23D ArtistFirst rendered project finished.
  • Level 3AnimatorFirst animation finished.
  • Level 4Blender CreatorFree project finished.

After the 90 days: pick your specialization

Once you are autonomous, you choose the direction you want to go.

This is not a tutorial library.

If you want to watch someone else work for three months, BLENDER 90 is not for you. From week 1 you build things on your own, with the solution locked until you decide to open it.

Two thirds of your time is spent in Blender, not on the play button.
